Costar’s Elevator Lobby
Other Involved Parties: Design Army, Davis Construction
CoStar is headquartered in a beautiful building in downtown Washington, DC. Design Army created a visually stunning concept for each elevator lobby in CoStar’s space. SUI was asked to consult early in the project for recommendations and then providing samples of various wall graphic and glass graphic materials. As the project moved towards production, SUI provided custom color samples for the transparent glass images. Not only was the color of the graphics custom but also the transparency of the glass images. Performing much of the work off hours, so as not to disrupt CoStar’s staff and their daily operations, SUI split into two teams. While the wall graphic team was installing, SUI’s glass graphic team was handling the glass, laying out templates and applying the glass graphics into position.
Jake Lefebure (CEO/Co-Founder Design Army): Design Army has worked with SUI for more than 10 years on countless custom projects, and we will continue to do so for one simple reason: trust. There are a lot of options out there in terms of companies to collaborate with, and they all use the same equipment, materials, and technology — but it’s the people that make the difference. You have to trust the people you work with to get great results.
